Role Overview
We are sourcing contract claims handlers for a growing Defined Benefits pensions team for one of our clients on an established, long-term project working directly within their permanent claims’ operation.
We’re reaching out to people experienced in dealing with past business review of pension advice or suitability of advice claims within Defined Benefits pensions. If you have pensions transfer qualification such as AF7 or G60, then this will also be a golden opportunity for you.
The project requires people who can build a case 'from the ground up', manage the points of contact with various stakeholders (liaising with failed institutions, IPs and other third parties), manage the file preparation, data gathering etc, that is needed to put a case file together. Writing clear customer decision letters will be an important feature within this role.
The right people will have an attention to detail, and the ability to manage a complex caseload along with meet deadlines. These people will consistently manage the customer expectation and experience.

You will have
An appropriate FS qualification such as FPC, DIPCII, DipFA Level 4 or their equivalent [DESIRABLE]
A full understanding of the reasons to recommend a pensions transfer or not
Some understanding on how to approach a compensation calculation – but not an expert (calculations are completed by the specialist calculations team)
The ability to process claims accurately that generate correct decisions and accurate compensation payments
